What you’ll receive:
10 Live comfrey root pieces ready for planting.
Planting Instructions:
Choose a spot with well-drained soil and full sun to partial shade. Comfrey is very hardy and adapts well once established.
- Plant root pieces horizontally or at a slight angle
- Place them about 2–3 inches deep in the soil
- Space plants about 18–24 inches apart
- Water well after planting
- Keep soil lightly moist until new growth appears
Once established, comfrey is low maintenance and grows vigorously. Because it can spread easily, plant it in a permanent location where it has room to thrive.
Growing Tips:
Comfrey prefers rich soil but will tolerate less-than-perfect conditions. Water during dry periods while plants are getting established. Harvest leaves once plants are mature and actively growing.
